Ben's Birthday Card 2010

It was my son Ben's 6th birthday recently & he is obsessed with Star Wars so Daddy kindly got a picture of a clone trooper for me to mount on his card. • Stamps - Starring You
  • Ink - Basic Black
  • Card - Yoyo Yellow, Whisper White
  • Tools - Paper Cutter, 1 3/4" & 1 3/8" Circle punches
  • Adhesives - Snail & Dimensionals

Flourished Flowers

The second Stampers 6 group project was to make one of the top card, I made some other colourways aswell, just because I like the card so much!

It was kept simple as we spent so much time on the candles that we didn't have much time left! But if you keep it simple, the fabulous stamp designs shine through.

Supplies:
  • Stamps - Flower Accent, Fine Flourish, Sincere Salutations
  • Ink - Rose Red (top), Brocade Blue & Close to Cocoa
  • Card - Very Vanilla, Rose Red (top), Brocade Blue, Chocolate Chip
  • Accessories - Rose Red Double Stitched Grosgrain (top), Brocade Blue 5/8" Grosgrain, Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbons
  • Tools - Paper Cutter, Paper Snips
  • Adhesives - Snail, Dimensionals
They loved making them, I'm sure they'll find lots more ways of using those lovely images.

Teacher Gifts 2010

These are the teacher gifts Ben & I made this year. We started off with the fantastic value Sweet Pea Designer Series Papers & colvered each set with a different colour. The cards were made to match & all the teachers loved them.

It was quite an emotional goodbye on the last day as we were saying goodbye to the school too. The infants school is closing, the juniors is being knocked down, but the good news is a new school has been built & it's fab! I went to both the old schools (a long time ago!) so it's the end of an era for me, but a new one begins.

Time now to enjoy the summer holidays & look forward to all things new, including the new purple uniform, my thanks to Mrs Sloan for saying it's a royal colour, it saved me from a big battle come September!

I'm back!!

Hi!

I'm sorry I've not posted for so long, I've been really busy with work, home, hubby sick etc etc. Then blogger wouldn't let me in to update my blog! I've got loads of projects ready to upload, so keep looking, I've scheduled some posts for the next few days.

Now I'm off for a few days R&R with the family & no crafting stuff is coming with me! I'm not sure if I can survive it with my marbles (the few I have left) intact, so wish me luck!
