A Flower for All Seasons

After nursing a poorly Ben last weekend I finally got to play with some of my new goodies, so you'll be seeing a few new images in the next few blogs. I've also been busy prepping for my next workshop, so I've been a happy crafty bunny!

I kept this card very simple, just stamping the image in Basic Grey, then using my inks as watercolours with an Aqua Painter. Love the frog!

A (very small) offcut of ribbon finished it off. This proves we should never throw those little bits of ribbon away. That's my excuse for never throwing anything away! lol.

Supplies:
Stamp Set - A Flower for all Seasons
Ink - Basic Grey, Real Red, Green Galore
Card - Whisper White, Green Galore
Accessories - 1/4" Grosgrain in Real Red
Tools - Paper Cutter, Aqua Painter
Adhesives - Snail & Dimensionals

Thanks for looking,
Kathy.

Daddy's Birthday Card

Ben & I made this card for Hubby's birthday which was on Sunday, unfortunately Ben had been ill all weekend so Pete's birthday didn't go quite as planned.

Ben wanted lots of candles on the card as Daddy is quite old & we couldn't fit that many on a cake!! (his words not mine) Ben did a lovely job of colouring most of the candles in (I helped) & Pete loved it (until he counted how many candles there were!). Well done Ben!!

Thanks for looking,
Kathy.

Last Stampers 10 Projects

For those of you who weren't members of Abi's Stampers 10 group, I thought you might like to see her last projects. Aren't they gorgeous?

For the box, Abi chose purple for me (what a surprize!) . I didn't finish it on the day, so Abi won't have seen the finished article. I also exchanged the post-its she provided with some die cut ones that I stamped. The papers is the gorgeous Tea Party DSP & I used the matching stamp set Petal Party.

The long thin item next to the card holds chocolate (it didn't last long, hubby had it). I'm going to make a few of them with my son for easter as I found some easter chocolate lollies in Aldi last week. He'll be giving them to some of his friends (& hopefully one for me!).

We used the limited edition Sale-a-Bration stamp set Happy Moments for these projects, if you want the set, it's free! Spend £45 (+p&p) and it's yours, but the offer is only 'til the end of the month, so contact me to place an order. Or better still, have a party because you can also get a free set if your party order totals over £300. Check out the Stampin' Up! website (see the link on the right) for details of this fabulous offer.

Happy crafting,
Kathy

Abi's Stampers 10 Gifts

At the last Stampers 10 group, she gave us all beautiful cards & gifts she'd made, these were mine (purple of course). Thought I'd share these with you, although Abi has put them on her blog. If you haven't checked out her blog yet, it's fab. It's Cornwall Crafty Stampers (link on the right). Loads of inspiration, challenges & tutorials, keep it as one of your favourites.
